The Shift

I was standing on the platform in Olean, New York. The worship was playing, and it was electric. As the team began to worship the Lord spoke to me. “I am about souls in this season. Everyone that is about what I am doing will see my glory and my increase.” As we began to talk about my role in this, I replied, “I am all in Lord.” I am hungry to see the harvest. The Lord had been speaking to me about my increased focus on souls. He has given me dreams and instructions that have been shifting and sifting me. I say sifting because that is the thing that the Church is about to go through. There have been those who have been there who are the pure evangelist. They have been there sowing seeds of harvest for years and years. My primary role as a prophet and apostle has been to train and equip God’s people. Something that I have given myself entirely to fulfill.

Today is the hour that the Lord is calling His body to shift. We can no longer talk about souls; we need to go after them with purpose. We need to focus ourselves on what the Lord is doing. I am not saying that we will not be training and equipping. I believe that we will be doing more training than have ever done before. As we go and cast our nets, there will be the need to train up a whole new generation of believers who have never been trained. We will gather in our churches and celebrate the beautiful harvest that the Lord has brought. We will witness the salvation of the Lord and be filled with the joy of new birth.

For those who are wondering what they will do with all the gifts we have been given and have been using, get ready. In this season we will flow with the Spirit and use the gifts of God like never before. This time, however, the majority of use will happen outside of the four walls of the Church. The Church has stayed inside for it was safe and comfortable. Like any other field or fishery, we have overfished our grounds without bringing in a new catch. Jesus wants us to cast our nets again, and He will fill the nets of large fish that will take everyone on the boat to pull in.

In this season you will have to be a reed that will bend in the wind of the Spirit by not break. You will have to be a ship that hoists the biggest sail and catches the wind of the Spirit. I know, you have done it before and nothing happened. This time it will. This is a new day. The Lord is telling us to cast our nets again on the "right side" of the boat.

The sifting is because the Lord is going to sift everything that is unnecessary in the season. It does not mean that it was not of God in a season, but in this season it might not be needed. You will have to be willing to trade yesterday for today. Will you let go of yesterday and take hold of today. This can be hard to do as we think that we are giving away something and therefore we will lose it forever. However, we are sowing it towards the purposes of God in this hour. When you plant in the purposes of God, it will not disappoint.
