The Word of God is one of the most powerful energy sources known to creation. It empowers us to be who we, what we are and to do what we are called to do. The Word of God is not a written thing, but a Living Being. It is Jesus Christ.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Word of God is not void of Spirit, but is Spirit and Life to those who know how to extract it from it’s shell and release it from it’s cage. Jesus said of Himself;
John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
John 12:25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
The Word of God is powerful, sharper then a two edged sword.
Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Word of God, spoken by prophets, apostles and yes you, can change the world if it is used with faith and according to it’s design. You are ambassadors to the Most High and He has sent all of us to set up an embassy here on earth for His government. The Word of God is the marching orders to His angels whom have been sent to do His deeds in the earth.
Psa. 103:20 Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
I have mention a few familiar Scriptures here to get us started, but my main purpose was to point out how the apostles spoke of the Word. They treated it as precious as life itself. They took to the Word of God with all care and diligence that they refused to back off it. Today, there are ministers who say the Word of Life is out dated and now we have to be open to alternative understanding and therefore, lifestyles. I say to you, holdfast to the Word of Life. Don’t let the hardness of men’s heart to sway you. They have not learned how to handle the word of God properly. Listen to what John declares concerning the word.
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life―
John say that He has done four things concerning the Word of Life.
1. He has heard it. This is the simplest one for faith is activated in hearing. See Romans 10:17
2. He has seen the Word of Life. This denotes that while some hear it, John saw it in action. He witnessed the Word of God working. This occurred in the life of Jesus and the apostles.
3. He looked upon it. This takes it to a whole new level. John declares that now he has set His gaze upon it to study it. This also has an abstract meaning to visit it. John studied it closely, like a scientist studies his experiment. It is not a quick glance, but a prolonged examination of the force and power in it.
4. Then the most amazing of all of it is this. John handles the Word of Life. He learned how to speak it with authority and declare its power. He learned how to conduct himself in a way that would bring grace and life to all who heard and obeyed. John became an advanced minister of the Grace of God.
My hope for you is this. That you too will decide to handle the Word of Life. That you will study its power and learn how to extract it’s energy. Release it into your life and the life of those around you. Shape the world by the things they don’t see and create a whole new perspective towards the future.
You are a history maker. Therefore go forth and bring life to the world and hope to the hurting. The Lord has sent you as His Ambassadors. You have been commissioned for such a time as this. Go in power, go in peace, go with the grace of God.
Blessings to all,
