Heb. 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
How many times have you thought of your position in relation to his throne? Do you think that God is distant and non-responsive to your prayer? Sometimes it can feel that way, but feelings are not always truth. We sometimes are so used to getting touched by the Lord that without that feeling we can be left feeling lost. As was sleeping and the Lord woke me up to tell me, “Let them know they are before My throne.”
I believe we are in a most pivotal place in history. A place where what we do before the face-off God now, could have effects lasting for decades. Now are prayers and supplications are to be made for the saints and for those who leading a charge of monumental proportions. There is a revolution a foot right now in America and the world is watching. As of today, September 15, 2015, the three people leading in the polls for president of the United States are seen as outsiders. Those who are not known as political insiders are shaking the states. Why? The revolution is upon us where America has had it with the establishment of Elites who have ran the country in the ground. As the political talking heads swivel in confusion because they don’t even realize how out of touch they were to the America culture, the Lord is working through His saints to stir up the dissatisfaction needed for change.
In order for meaningful change to be undertaken you need one of two environments. You either need the spirit of excellence to come upon the people. This causes them to not be satisfied even in good and they our motivated to consistently look for the best way of doing everything. This is the Kingdom way and the spirit of excellence. The other option is not as glamorous, but can be quite effective. It is when the years of slothfulness have brought a people, community or nation to the brink, that even if the collective group does not agree upon the issues, they agree that change is necessary. This has toppled kings and queens in the past and is the nightmare of every leader. These two things have the same outcome for the current political environments of our day. The populous is demanding change.
Whether that change turns out to be for our good, or for our destruction as a nation, now depends on the saints. I know many think that God is in control and it does not matter, but that would just be inconsistent with history and scripture. The overall will of God will come to pass, this is true and sure. However, the timing of it and the process in getting there has a lot to do with His people participating by means of prayer and action. If we disengage the process, we will prolong our own agony and increase the suffering of many. If we believe that our place is always before His face, and that He is pleased when we do this, we can correct the course of history.
There is a different way we are to pray however. We know how to pray the prayer that puts us on the sideline and makes us wait for God to fix everything. We are to pray not just for the answer, but that the Lord will send us to be the answer. Jesus is our answer to our powerless life of sin, but we are His secret weapon against the forces of darkness. The ones who once persecuted the saints, now preach in His very name. Isaiah had the right response to the question from the Lord.
Is. 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Will you pray this prayer? “Lord send me.” If we will pray this prayer the other half of our prayer will have teeth and weight. “Now Lord stretch forth Your hand as we go out and preach, teach and empower others. Heal the sick and grant us wisdom to accomplish the works you have given us. Works that our designed to bring the Father glory.”
Pray that with me right now. Keep praying it. Don’t stop, GO! Position yourself before the Throne and receive the strength you need, then go and bring it everyday to the World. Together, we can change the World.
