Have you ever desired to live the way Jesus lived? Have you ever wanted to see the power of God displayed and manifested right before your eyes? If you have I have wonderful news for you. It is not only available, but highly probable for those who hunger. The first thing is that very desire. Without that longing, there would be no reason to proceed any further. For those who feel this topic is not for them, they have already clicked off and gone somewhere else. For those of you who are with me still, I would like to help you move in Revelation Power that has fueled me for almost 25 years and has not gone out. I am going to give you have few keys here that will help you, and some revelation that will explode inside of you. Are you ready to go farther? Okay, I am warning you right now. If you proceed past this paragraph, you are destined to change the world and the way you see it.
First let me go to this scripture:
Eph. 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Eph. 1:18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
This is a very well known scripture, but iI want to connect your heart with it and make it come alive for you. Paul’s prayer for the saints is that the spirit of revelation and wisdom (two angelic beings) would be given to them in the knowledge of Jesus. The word for knowledge is epignosis. A word that means to be aquatinted with it through a working, practical experience of it. More than just a book form of knowledge, but a living knowledge. It is an experience with the knowledge itself. I love that. God’s truth, like the Son of God, is living and powerful. We are to both know and experience truth and the Son of power. We can see this in another verse via the Amplified Translation.
Eph. 3:18 That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
Eph. 3:19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
Okay, now we have a frame work for this, let us get to the revelation that I am dying to share with you. What if I told you that everything that Jesus did, you were present for. That you were in His spiritual loins while He walked the earth. Just like you were in the garden with Adam, in his loins, you too were with Jesus. When you see Jesus heal the sick in Scripture, you were there. When He multiplied fish and bread, your were with Him. Now, Paul said that the Gospel he preached, he did not learn from man. He said he received it through revelation. Not just any revelation, but the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Gal. 1:11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
Gal. 1:12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Now before you think Paul is talking about the message of salvation, he is not. He is talking about that and so much more. He is talking about the revelation of the Kingdom as revealed in and through Jesus Christ. The kingdom contains everything, but the message of salvation is just the beginning. Why is this important. Before the Cross, revelation was something that was limited in the Old Covenant. It was revealed to us through the Law and the Prophets. In the New, it is revealed in a person.
Heb. 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
Heb. 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
Heb. 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Jesus Christ is the perfect manifestation of all things God and His Kingdom. If I see it in Jesus Christ, I know it to be truth, even if I don’t fully understand it. That is the beginning of the journey, to know Jesus. In the Old, there was an earning of revelation.
Deut. 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
In the New, these things have been freely given to anyone who will ask.
1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Cor. 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
1 Cor. 2:11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
You see, you don’t have to earn revelation anymore, you just have to steward it. Some would say that they don’t have any. That would be wrong, because you have been handed the greatest key to revelation knowledge known to the world, Jesus Christ and His Spirit.
Every Kingdom Looks Like It’s King
I want you to remember that statement. Why do I know that the Kingdom of God provides healing? The answer is found in Jesus’ response to the sick. Why do I know that the Kingdom of God provides for my needs? The answer is found in Jesus’ response to hunger, thirst and clothing. Why do I know that the Kingdom of God grants me access to power for meeting the needs of others? The answer is found in the way Jesus commissioned those around Him with power.
Now that we have a basis for truth, I want to take another step. I love reading about the things that Jesus did, but I want to see Him do it. I begin to visualize the things that He did. I look deep into them. I try to picture Jesus healing the blind man. I see Jesus giving thanks and breaking the bread. We have done this when it comes to Jesus on the cross, but not Jesus in the streets. I hear people say, I was on the cross with Him. He died for me. I have even better news. You have been raised with Him as well. I want to meditate on it. I want to pray into it. What do I mean by that?
The Word Of God Is A Doorway
Jesus said that He was the door.
John 10:7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
He is also the Word made flesh.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Many people pray the word, which I still believe in. Yet years ago, the Spirit taught me that I could enter the spirit realm through the door called, The Word Made Flesh. No one enters except through Him. If you are in Him you are a new creation. This is why Scripture talks about being in Him so much. So when I see Jesus heal, I pray into it. I want to do the works that Jesus did and is still doing. I want to partner with Him. In the Church many times we are limited by the revelation of the leader. Yet if Christ is the head, there is no limitations given to men. You can do all things in Christ!!! Remember that scripture. It was supposed to empower you, not just comfort you in the tough times. You are royalty. You are clothed with Royal Robes. Now, believe it, see it, put yourself in it and act upon it. You too will find yourself living in Revelation Power.
Blessings to you,
